An established business for over 40 years, Marine Control SL has been serving the anti-corrosion needs of Mallorca’s boating industry for decades. Formerly known as Mgduff Mallorca we have now expanded to provide other products to Palma’s marine sector. Based in Palma, close to all the marinas, Marine Control keeps a large stock of all the anodes you might require, from small trim tabs to large 14kg hull anodes, using the top brands MgDuff and Polipodio.
Marine Control also keeps a large stock of cutlass bearings from Exalto, the market leader in quality shaft bearings. We have expanded our business to include MACOGA expansion joints, AMBASSADOR ropecutters, GORI propellers and ZINGA paint.
Service is our number one priority. Not only do we aim to keep your anodes and bearings in stock, but we can also offer advice and deliver them to your boat extremely quickly, usually the same day.
We have full machining capabilities including 4 large lathes, milling machine, high capacity saws and extensive tooling.
Nick Shortland is probably the most experienced anode expert in the Balearics. He knows just about every anode in existence and can find a solution to any anode problem! He can be found in the major ports and dockyards of Mallorca every day with his faithful dog Gina, making deliveries and helping boats choose the right anti-corrosion solution.
Andrew Bernard is a mechanical engineer that came to Mallorca through his love of cycling and never left! With a good head for figures, logistics and efficiency he tries to keep things running smoothly and makes excellent English tea. Impatient by nature, Andrew cannot stand delays or apathy and makes sure that our customers get excellent, fast service with no fuss.
